Our Story
Petals en Pointe was created from a place many dance parents know well — juggling studio schedules, fixing hair in car parks, calming nerves before performances, and feeling that quiet pride as your child steps onto the stage.
I’m a dance mum to two daughters who both dance, and ballet quickly became part of our everyday life. From early morning classes and rehearsals to exam days and performances, I saw just how much the little details mattered. A neat bun, a hairpiece that stayed put, and something that made my girls feel confident — those finishing touches really do make a difference.
Petals en Pointe grew naturally from that experience.
What started as a creative outlet soon became a way to bring something
thoughtful and reliable into the ballet world. Every piece is handmade in
Australia, designed with real studio life in mind — not just how it looks on
stage, but how it feels to wear, how easy it is to use, and how well it holds up on busy dance days.
As a parent, I understand the pressure that comes with exams, performances, and competitions. That’s why each bun wrap, hair comb, and exam bow is created to be secure, comfortable, and practical, while still keeping a classical, elegant look. These are pieces made to support dancers — and give parents one less thing to worry about.
Petals en Pointe isn’t about trends or mass production. It’s about care,
intention, and being part of those meaningful moments that make up a dancer’s journey. I’m so grateful to create accessories that become part of performances, exams, memories, and milestones along the way.
Thank you for being here and for supporting Petals en Pointe.
